Where and where is the conference taking place?

The conference will be held at MKC on the 14th of September. That’s just the main conference day. We’ll have a full week of activities, so stay tuned for more details. MKC is in the city center, close to most of the stuff you might want to check out. Plus, if you’re into brutalist architecture, you’re in for a treat.

The workshops and pre-conference events will be held at the Base42 Hackerspace. A (figuratively and literally) underground hackerspace and a hotspot for the local tech communities.

Do you have a Code of Conduct?

Yes, we do. We follow the Citizen Code of Conduct and you can find it here.

Any breach of the Code of Conduct will be taken seriously and may result in being asked to leave the conference. Please report any incidents to a member of the crew or send us an email at what@wts.sh.

When and where can I submit a talk?

The Call for Papers (CFP) will be open on until the 1st of August, 2024. You can submit your talk proposal here.

The main conference day sessions should be 25 minutes long, plus Q&A. We’re open to workshops and other formats, so feel free to submit your ideas. No matter how wild they might be.

When is the full agenda going to get published?

We’re working hard to put together a great lineup of speakers and workshops. Yes, we plan to have workshops too. We’ll publish the full agenda by mid August. Stay tuned!

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, we do:

  • Early Bird: We’re gradually increasing the ticket price as we get closer to the event. So, the sooner you get your ticket, the better.
  • Group Discount: If you’re coming with a group of 5 or more, you can get a 5% discount on the total price. This scales all the way up to 20% for groups of 20 or more. Contact us at what@wts.sh for more information.
  • Student Discount: We offer a 50% discount for students. Please send us an email at what@wts.sh with a valid student ID to get the discount code.
  • Community Partner Discount: If you’re a member of one of our community partners, ask them for a discount code.
